High idle problem!!!!!
Okay guys today the car started acting funny after driving it around, it first started by surging really bad then at when i finally made it into the driveway it started idling as high as 2000 to 1500. Tomm morning iam going to start checking stuff. So were should i start checking??? The has been tuned for like 2 months now and it has been fine, until today.
04 GTO A4
TSP Torque V2 on a 112 LSA with PRC Dual Valve Springs
LS7 lifters
Power bond 25% under drive pulley and belts
OEM LS6 Oil Pump with new o-ring
PRC stage 2.5 5.3's ls6 cnc ported heads
Cloyes Hex-A-Just Timing Set
Comp Cams Rocker Arm Trunion Upgrade for LS rockers
Fast intake 92mm
92mm throttle bodie

Also what can i use to clean the iat sensor???? And do i need to take it apart or can i just spray it with something??

sounds like you have a vacuum leak or a leak after the MAF sensor. Sounds like you're getting unmetered air in there somewhere.

ya iam thinking the samething, i guess i can use some carb cleaner and start spraying around. Also i dont have a maf iam running SD.

have you checked to make sure the cable hasnt got hung up?? also, yes, they have a tps, its the lower sensor on the right hand side of the throttle body, IIRC.
