HELP Interior Resonance from new exhaust

Hey all,

Yup its me again...

I have a problem with my new exhaust system...I bought a Corsa single sided exhaust, and well on the outside WOW, but when i am cruising there is a DEEP annoying noise that has me irritated.

My problem is the exhaust system is JBA headers, with JBA catless midpipes, and the corsa exhaust...Mind you my cuz is also having a prob with his corsa exhaust on his hummer...Same annoyin deep noise...These Fkrs are expensive, and well not nice when tryin to entertain guests

I am thinkin of putting in another muffler, a Borla 4" racing muffler to lessen the noise but not the flow. just where the Y pipe starts...Its 3.5" there...

Your thoughts?

I'd change mufflers...not add another muffler....I have the loudmouth II tubes on now...killed the drone....

I haven't heard of drone with Corsa. No leaks I assume?

i am thinkin of first wrappin the fron the Y-pipe to the muffler with exhaust wrap, then puttin sound deading material around it.

I got the Touring edition, and when i am entertainin company, at low revs the noise is very noticable.

if you add cats it should get rid of the drone.

I have Corsa Touring with high flow cats and long tubes on my 2006 GTO. Love the sound of the Sport but it is a bit too loud for me. I think the Touring is great. Most likely not running without the cats is the problem. Hope you get it fixed.
