    Headlight tail light blackouts

Hey guys I purchased a set of vinyl tint covers for the headlights and tail lights paid like $35 for all of them and was the biggest waste of money ever. Not only did they not cover entire lights leaving gaps all the way around two of them blew off a week later. Not to mention made it really hard to see at night. Is there a better way to black them out?

Where did you buy them from? There is some spray called VHT niteshade and you could try that. Most autoparts stores have it. Or you could search for a company called GTS they make plastic covers that go over the lights.

We gotta watch ourselves on ebay. If you want to try vinyls again, one fo this sites sponsors is afterthoughts auto and I am pretty sure they have different darknesses.

hey man if you spray the covers tinted, or clear coat they will last alot longer because the paint blocks out alot of the U ys that kill plastic, plus if you don't like it you can just scuff them back down and reclear again...just a thought
