GTO, lets talk nitrous
i posted this here so all the gto guys would see it, to all the goats running nitrous on an otherwise stock car, (2004 ls1) what are you runnin what did you run, as far as shot wise, and timing wise, i have been told by many sponsors and vendors i can def run a 100 shot on stock tune without anyproblems, and 2 vendors told me i could most likely get away with a 150. any help would be great. fyi, im running BR7EF plugs gapped at .035, id go bigger if i knew i could keep them lit.

wow, according to nitrous express (100) nitrous outlet (100-150) and harris speed workd (100-150) all on stock tune on the gto. this is because we run 18-19 degrees of timing at WOT, where the f-body runs like 23-26 or something real high like that. thats what all three of those vendors have told me. i guess i was curious to see what the stock guys have pulled off with sucess.

wow, that is a shit ton. as far as stock, maybe someone else can chime in. but the 04 gto ls1, i was posistive only had like 18-19 degrees. i guess you cant trust everything you read.
and it has 63,000 miles
and i sprayed the 100 shot last night. no pings tings or dings so, hopefulle all is well. ill wait to do it again till im in a better place to shut it down and read some plugs

im kinda of think yes, because, i have been researching this for about a month now, and everytime i come upon 04 gto in the nitrous world, all research has told me that we have a really conservative timing setup where as the fbody and the ls2 gto did not.
