Grand Prix Pre Being Reborn. 362hp reborn
Curious to see if anybody saw, and read the October issue of Motor Trend about Pontiac's new musclecar (ready to go). Holden Commodore SS-V wil be the new Grand Prix, if Gm says yes.
I tell you what I like it, and it whould be a great M5 killer with some mods. I know I could of posted this in anything goes, but I felt it belonged here to be discussed by some great GTO enthusiast's like ourselves to consider were proud of what our friends from Down Under can build, and what we drive around are proud American soil..Last edited by ramrod; 09-15-2006 at 07:14 AM.

OK, I'll take the 6speed tranny but what's up with the 6L vortec 362hp motor vs LS2 ? And a 4 door at that.
Oh, It has 390lb ft. torque, but what do you LS2 guys have as far as torque?Last edited by GOT1GOAT; 09-15-2006 at 10:59 AM.

our LS-2s have 400hp/400ft lbs torque, I think it will be a good move for pontiac, the arcticle I read said that by 2010 pontiac will be all rear wheel driven cars, and no more stupid shit-(Aztec, Torrent, etc.) pontiac will be back to the performance section of GM

I got the mag too.. it looks pretty good.. This will help some of us midlifers who want some power be able to sell it to the wife.." ohh look honey its got 4 doors"..
Anyway I like my GTO just fine hopefully will be doing some mods to it soon.
I think Pontiac (GM) is going in the right direction with adding some more rear wheel drive cars... Cant wait to see if they will actually make the GP..

362 hp?
Sounds detuned or retuned to produce massive amounts of torque off idle, and use regular gas.
Nothing a H/C/I and custom tune wont fix
