does any one know what an 06 GTO sounds like with streight pipe and s40 flowmasters.

Yes thats what I have on my car right now.... If your saying straight pipe referring to removing the "premuffler" after the cats...... That's what I have with the stock tips.

Torrid Red- 2004 GTO
I have a 2004 with KOOK headers, 1 7/8 - 3" exits. From there I have 3" pipes with an H-pipe into Super 40s, exit 40s go under rear end, stright out the back, mid bumper, about a foot apart, 3 1/2" tips. Its stright all the way, no bends, no CATs, no Resona., nothing but Flowmasters. It sounds great. It has the deepest tone I have ever heard. I put it in the shop yesterday for a Heads, Cam, ect. bolt ons. When we start it up I'm going to tape it, and I'll put it on line. Its not raspy at all, just a deep clear tone. You'll love it if you like a bass.

Yep, thats pretty much it. I havn't heard the SNAP - POP though. But the AROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMPAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!! sure sounds good.
