    Finally back to the track

Finally got the car ready for a new season after missing most of last year and this year starts early since I've left Ohio.

    New PB this weekend of 11.156 @ 121.62 1.505 60ft

Earlier this week the high for today was supposed to be in the upper 40s at SGMP but it got into the 70s today by the time they started ... always my luck. Oh what might have been.

Despite this I set new PB's across the board for ETs in the 1/4 and 1/8 and ran my 1st ,3rd and 4th fastest times. Plus got my top three 60 fts and 1st 1.4x 60. The car ran pretty consistent. I wasn't really concerned about R/T. Still trying to find the right tire pressure and RPM to launch at today. I think I got close today in finding it .

Going back down in two weeks for Pony Wars. 3 1/2 hour drive but really nice track and prep.

Nice runs. Your times excite me - assuming I ever make it to the track again lol.

Sounds like in the right conditions you might become part of the 10 sec club.
Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

Just need some runs at sea level or less and the 10s right there I think. DA was about 850 for these.

What tire are you using? Assume you're auto. What size stall?

Must be a fun ride. Really like the look of your car too -- very tastefully done.

Same motor but I did make a few changes. Added a CF DSS driveshaft. In order to do that I had to replace my 04 dual exit Borla (2.25 inch) exhaust with a 05/06 Kooks street screamer (3 inch) to move the muffler location away from the CF . Also upgraded my Rossler Transmission and had my PI 3200 3disk converter restalled to 3600.

How do you like the 3" street screamer cat back, got mine about a year ago but had my sc in the plan and really like the way it sounds and performes and it is a well made product. What do think about the cf drive shaft, know it is one peice, light, and has a little flex to it can you tell the difference. This week put the g-force anti hop axles in mine (6 speed) and what a difference 98% gone. That is one thing i do regret not going with the auto. Regards, Jack

I like the street screamer a little better because it's only loud when you want it to be. Much quieter on the highway cruising. First time down the track I did notice that the car just felt like it was really smoother with the CF drive shaft
