A few random mods

Hey all, I found a few things in Hot Rod magazine and Scientific American, and was wondering what the general community's take would be.
First off is QuickTime Performace's QTEC Electric Cutout. Ive been thinking of something like this, coupled with stealth sidepipes, and it just popped up from nowhere in HRM.

My main question is, what size would I need for an 05 GTO? I have no idea about the exhaust diameters.

Second, from Scientific American, was Pulstar Pulse Plugs. Seems like it could be just a gimmick, but hey, sometimes they work.

A cut-out is a great addition, dont know much about the pulse plugs,

Nice sound...could use a light under there though, and hard to tell when it was open and closed, some kinda indicator would be cool. What kind of performance/fuel economy gains did you reap? Im basically thinking of just a simple DD kit consisting of new exhaust, CAI, SFC's and strut tower bars. Also nitrous isnt out of the question, and a set of drag bags is definitely worth the cash.
