Drag Bags/Springs?
ok, quick help needed...installed my new wheels and tires, thought everything looked like it would clear ok, went 235/40ZR18 front, 265/35ZR18 rear, but i get a little rear tire-rub on the fenders when i level out going downhill or hit bumps...mech says my springs and shocks still in good shape...How much does installing drag bags firm my rear suspension, and is there any dif in styles or brands to avoid/prefer? Never looked @ em yet, and need to fix ASAP! Thanks

bmr sells them think their alittle more then $100 bucks but drag bags are just band aids for those shitty stock springs, but they should help you out with that wheel rub.

who would be a good place to buy springs that are say 1-1.5" longer than my stock ones? i think the performance would be same, and it would prob stop my tire rub more permanently than bags...any ideas?

just get stock ride height springs they will put your rear where its ment to be. pedders, lovells or kings are all good buys pedders sell 5/16 raise springs.

Yup. Raise the rear and you'll be fine.

I think they sell AIR LIFTS. I think they are about $80 a piece and just sit inside your coil spring and can raise the car up to 3 in. May want to do some more research on it but I'll prolly end up getting some in the future for my T/A

The bags will work if you decide to go the cheaper route. I have been running them for a little over a year now and have had no problems what so ever. I am also running 275/35zr18 nittos out back as well.

Running the bags for 3 years and no problems, helped with wheel hop and will raise the rear to clear your tires, 100 bucks and easy to install.

went ahead and ordered the Pedders drag-series coil springs, might end up getting drag bags as well if they don't do enough...if i had a little extra cash, i would have ordered all the Pedders bushings too and done it all at once...oh well, baby steps...

actually yes, but had to place my order on hold, fam emergency requires money at the time, but as soon as i get caught up with that, i will re-submit my order...there isn't a pedders dealer anywhere near me, so i had to make some calls, but shouldn't be a prob once im ready
