Talking Convesion Of The New Year Completed

    HAHAHAHAHA

    I did it, i swapped a 4L60E FOR A M12 transmission out of a CTS-v.

Needless to say i am in need of a new driveshaft, one will be on order momentarily.

Things you all need to know if you feel like persuin a similar track.

    1. Make sure you get all your measurments right the first time...
    A. I put in a shorter transmission with a longer flywheel housing, not the easiest thing to do
    2. Your speed sensor is seperate so there are no issues there, your TC button can be relocated but you loose the original AUTO shifter...I will notify you of the right wires for the reverse lights etc to work properly.
    3. Get all the RIGHT PARTS for your praticular Vehicle.
    A. I got a CTS-v tranny, with a modified mount, and modified shifter, and modified clutch and a modified driveshaft adaptor...Hmm, i didnt install my tranny i basically modified everything around it...

Thank God i have a machine shop, and fabrication section in my company or else i would be on a sinkin ship with no life rafts

You all may find me zoomin around, enjoyin the 6 speed...

Not the best turn out i was waitin for, but needless to say i have reverse lights when i put it in reverse. and it starts when i press the clutch, no issues...And i can turn off my traction control...Hehe

I customed made a temp driveshaft so i can drive to the dealership and have my Tein shock kit installed and new body kit...

Does anyone know of a company that does costum carbonfiber driveshafts???BMR already told me no...

I also installed an oil cooler, and am considering installin water jets for extra cooling on those hot runs...
