    Can this radiator be fixed??

My buddy has an 06 GTO and he just replaced his radiator just under a year ago. Now its leaking from this seal thing, its behind the radiator about 2 inches below the res. cap. so do you guys thing it can be sealed up/welded or some how fixed?

he needs a temp fix until he replaces it. Any feedback would really help and the sooner the better!
ohh and does anyone know if this cap thing thats leaking come stock or its just the aftermarket radiator that has this.. and does anybody know what purpose it serves?

Is his an A4? If it's an M6 than more than likely, the radiator is cracked and needs to be replaced. That hole is for transmission lines if the car is an A4.

Did he replace it with a new unit? If so it should carry a warranty.
