Cammed the Goat
Just had a small cam installed and tuned. Its a 224/224 580/570 112 LSA. Had the work done by COmplete Street in Eastern PA.
No track times yet--but feels great on the street.

Yeah I figured I couldnt go wrong with that one--I need to pass emmissions too so that made my choice alot narrower.
Im running JBA shortys/catted mids with a Flowmaster axleback.
And the plate was bought last year before the cam--my wife said it better not run 11's because shes not spending more money to replace that plate. lol

Very nice, Sounds good! Did you have the valve springs changed out, are you running the stock head set up? Sounds like your plan is pretty much what I'm going with this fall.

sounds great and I'm glad you didn't get all wrapped up in the mega-lift cam stuff. Those 224 cams are well proven cams. Curious to see what numbers you rip off with it. Who picked that out and why the split on a 112 for the auto car?

After talking to the guy doing the install as well as the tuner, we figured this would work the best for me. Its a Daily driver that has to pass emissions. I didnt want to go to huge with the stock stall either. I see about 5 or 6 track days per year and want to run decent times but not at the expense of giving up drivability.
