Phantom Black Metallic- 2005 GTO
Brake Pads
Hello All.....
Just having trouble deciding what brake pad to install..... I have checked many web sites and 95% of them carry "Hawk" pads and that IS currently what I have on my car..... (Hawk HP)..... Am wondering if this is the best buy for my buck or if there is better out there???..... Liked the "Hawk" pads but life was fairly short and very dusty..... Any suggestions????

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
Mine came with EBC Redstuff pads which were installed by previous owner. With all the driving I do, I went through the rears 10 months after I bought the car(previous owner did brakestands) and the fronts 4 months after the rears wore out. I installed Wagner ThermoQuiet ceramic pads and I am pleased. Stops just as good as the EBCs and the wheels stay cleaner longer. My 2 cents tho.

I recently grabbed some Monroe Premium Ceramics off this inter-web thingy. They stop fantastic and havent made my wheels too grimey. Good price, too.

If you can find bendix those are the pads I prefer in just about everything but lately I've went to wagner because of the lack of local guys that carry bendix. Both are great pads though.
