battery
ok the factory battery in my car finally died today at work, is it the optima
red top everyone is going with 138.08 at local auto parts store.,
theres goes some of my money i was going use for my fast intake
p.s. i searched and couldnt find anything specfic about it

go with the napa brand. I bought one and its the exact same as the optima for $25 less.

Well now hold your horses there Fester......The NAPA battery is the exact same battery as the OPTIMA for a fraction of the cost.....They have the red or yellow NAPA brand battery for less than a half of the OPTIMA....I've had the yellow one in the black bitch for well over a year.....great battery...

napa
so napa sells the exact same battery as the optima? for a fraction of the cost.if so im going go with the napa do u all have the napa part number handy because the napa store close to me sucks lol

sarge you are a truth wealth of knowledge, thanks for the link on the relocation, im going do that this week also, i was already thinking about using conduit, what do u think sarge i have acess to an ambulance which has one of its batterys out back u think everything should be big enough, just trying to save some money.

I understand....use a 1 or 0 guage cable....I just bought it at a welding supply company.....it is cheap....use plastic conduit fittings for going through the trunk floor so you done have any cable rubbing on metal.....it is very cheap to do.....

The ambulance run dual batterys and dual 165 amp alternators i figure the wire shoudl be fine, i just have to crawl under there and see how big it is. Yea im going make sure there is no rub, the napa battery is the same as the optima im going call tommorow and see if the napa store has it in stock if so ill just boost off here when i leave work tommorow and get it tuesday.

i got the optima, napa didnt have it in stock and it was just a 20 dollar difference so
