Auto RX question
This may be a stupid question but I'll ask it anyway. I just got a shipment of Auto RX and in the instructions it says to treat every 25,000 miles with a full bottle or put 3 ounces in every oil change. My question is if you run synthetic oil wouldn't it be a waste to run 3 ounces of Auto RX continuously as it works much better with conventional oil than synthetic? Maybe Sarge or sombody else here can enlighten me.

Do the first cleaning phase with Castrol GTX dino oil. Rinse phase with the same. From there you can add 3oz's to any oil to keep things clean. The reason Frank doesnt recommend synthetic oil during the cleaning or rinse phase is the add packs work against the AutoRX from scrubbing the surface of the metals due synthetics film strength.

Sarge right now I've only got 4,000 miles on the GTO would there really be enough crap built up in that short amount of time to justify a clean and rinse or would the maintenance work fine? Maybe the thing to do is wait until I get some miles on the Goat and then do the clean job.
