barbatos blue- 2004 gto
just had an SLP loudmouth installed on my 04' GTO. it sounds great. I spent hours reading posts on this subject and the opinions generally leaned towards the SLP being too loud or having a "drone". I think that that with little throttle, cruising in 6th, it is still pretty quiet. Generally anything approaching 3000rpm and you REALLY start to hear it. One guy said that the SLP is "an american oil-can exhaust". I disagree....it is very loud when you want it and moderate when you ae out of the throttle.

I just put the Corsa Sport on my '05. It sounds incredible. Really loud when at WOT but jsut as quiet as stock when you are easy on the throttle. And there is zero interior resonation at any RPM. I love it.

Yellow w/ flames- 2004 GTO
I have to agree with "jacobyb" as far as the Corsa systems. I have Kooks LT's into a Corsa touring system. It is not as loud as the sport system but it is loud enough to get you in trouble. But the best part as "jacobyb" mentioned absolutely no resonation and when you get off the throttle it like you turned the key off.

I have magnaflows, and they have a lot of resonation in the cab. Good sound, and one of the cheaper stainless systems, but again, lots of drone

Phantom Black- 2004 GTO
I have Stainless Works Lt headers and their catback with Turbo Mufflers. Sounds awesome when getting on it and quiet when on the highway. I am really pleased with my setup.

On my `04 I went with a fabricated single 3" and single Magnaflow in the back were the `05 muffler would be. The car is already set up for a rear muffler, there is a heatshield back there. Car dynoed 314 at the rear with exhaust and 315 with it disconnected after the cats. It was running so good that only 3 more horse could be tuned out of it. The way Pontiac laid out the `04 exhaust is a huge compromise. Plus, I dropped the weight and restricition of a second pipe and muffler, and no kinks.
On my `05 the layout is much better, just a few nasty kinks.2005 GTO

Black- 2005 GTO
On my 05 I have the magnaflow a bit quieter at idle than stock but is louder and deeper sounding anywhere after that...
