    any LS2 cam only timeslips?

any of you LS2 guys have cam only timeslips? I'm curious to see what a cam only setup such as a torquer 2 would do. I'm wondering just what kind of time gains heads will bring. The 243's flow pretty damn good out of the box so the dollar per E.T. gained has the potential to not be very good with heads on the LS2's.

I'd like to see the before and after time slips of a stock LS2 with stock heads vs. the LS7 GM performance heads........it sounds like you can really boost power for $375, but I'd like to see if there is any gains with everything else being stock.....maybe these heads could be the first mod before a cam swap?

My cam only setup on an LS2 was netting 458/419. Dont know if a FAST 90/90 is considered cam only though. Had the same size cam as the Torquer 2. 1 3/4" Catless LTs, UDP, springs etc. Stock fuel pump, stock injectors(They were at 91%). Without the FAST setup it made 430/397 cam only. It trapped around 119 when I sold it.

WOW!,,,where are you finding LS7 heads for $375????

You must be referring to the L92's.

thanks for the post.....that's the other thing I was wondering about. How much cam the stock LS2's injectors will support. Seems the Torquer 2 is just over the line huh.

It really just depends on the tune. My tune was a little on the aggresive side. It was still safe, but tuned more for HP than the street(Which was the opposite that I told the guy to do)

You can have a huge cam on the stock injectors and detune it a little. My buddy are running F14 HL cams in there stock 04 GTOs with the stock injectors running less fuel than me and still making 400WHP with the usual bolt ons.

You put the T2 Cam with some LS2 heads and stock Ls2 injectors and youll run some 420-440 range numbers with fuel left.

M6. I was making the power for those traps though. 458/419 was high.
