Aftermarket steering wheel

Does anybody know if i can put a Grant steering wheel on 04 GTO? Ive been trying to find an answer for a while now.

I personally wouldn't chance it. Your airbag light with light up constantly and the law won't take kindly to you altering your onboard safety equipment. I think it's like a $10k fine if you were to swap steering wheels.

I cut the center hub out of mine and drilled/ tapped it, then mounted the adapter to it.....I have deleted my whole airbag system though.....if you do disable any part of your airbag system you have to inform any potetial buyer if you go to resell it.

Airbag system deleted.
ABS system deleted.
Power steering deleted.

I think I would feel A LOT more secure, on a street driven vehicle, knowing I had ABS, Traction Control and Airbag protection.
Especially if I'm carrying grandchildren etc.

What's traction control? Lol

That is why I have a 2+2 GTO now.....the kids sit safely in a little back seat between the tubs, and will be surrounded by the roll cage

We have a NRG Quick disconect and a NRG 320 mm Steering Wheel on our GTO...But its not on the street to Much...

One thing that I would love to see as far as airbag systems is an on/off switch like in my father's 98 Dodge Ram...you stick your key in the switch to turn it off if you have a child in the passenger seat.
