2004 GTO 30k Mile Refreshment
So a couple of days ago I hit the 30k mark on the 04 Goat, and the question is... What do I need to refresh the Goat?
The Test and Tune day at the track is one month from today and I'm wondering what fluid etc I need to replace.
I will order some RP synchromax to replace with my Ripshifter installation. But what else? Rear fluid, coolant etc. Also I'll be replacing my oil, I was looking at the Amsoil Sig Series but is it really worth the few extra dollars?

I also noticed that my shifter is stiff as hell hopefully the fluid change will fix this. When I start the car I usually have to push in the clutch and shift 1-2 back and forth several times to loosen it up and smooth it out.

tranny fluid should be good for 100K , check your bolts on your shifter mechanism

Mines got 25000 on the clock and just did the rear with royal purple 75-140 and 1/2 the amount of the GM friction modifer. Next is the tranny with royal purple synchromax, I just like to take care of my girl. BTW amsoil is great stuff we ran it in our fleet of sales cars, good stuff.
