Wow talk about a drop kick to change the course of events - could you imagine what the early 90's would have been like at the old school drag strips that are full of 1970's Monte Carlos and Dusters, AMC Javelins and Gremlins. The scene would have been a lot different if that GTO made it to mass production; we'd be seeing a lot less Monte Carlos and Buicks out there racing. Pontiac really missed the bus in the 80's concerning culture... even still, there are fewer things as beautiful as a a 1970's Pontiac; Firebird, Lemans, GTO...

Side note, IMHO those were one ugly POS but I remember seeing that land yacht style running on the streets when I was kid.. Under powered over weight and shaped like a brick..
