05-06 GTO exhuast swap on 04

Is the 05,06 GTO cat back a exact bolt up to the 04 GTO with the rear valance changed? Considering the JBA from www.rpmoutlet.com

    I don't think so.........
The 04 I looked at on a lift last year......The primary pipes off the manifolds were looking Very different.
I'm not sure but that comes to my recolection of the 04 I looked at.

Thanks for the input. I contacted rpm outlet today and found the same. I ordered the JBA cat back from them. I had them do a lot of research before I ordered; it turns out the part number JBA supplied for the 04 is the 05-06 set up with the proper arrangement to bolt up to the ls1 flanges. I will post if all turns out right or goes hella wrong for all who aspire to do the same.
    Thanks again.

It sure is, I just did both 05 rear bumper cover and the Borla Catback dual with
the dual exit. Had no hangar bracket for the right rear exhaust, my choices were wait for the JBA hangar kit and pay $100, or do like I did, and go to the exhaust shop down the road from me and pay $25 for them to fab one. They did
a nice clean job,and it's real strong. The Borla comes with the dual tips on each
side for the 04 look. I cut them off and put two single 4" tips on for the 05 look.
With the 05 ram air hood, and the rear bumper cover and exhaust,I have the 05
look I want. And on the performance side, there is a seat of the pants hp gain from the exhaust, and the thing sounds GREAT! Nice throaty rumble, but no drone at all at highway speeds while on th cruise control.

LS2Tuner is right, the 05-06 exhaust will not fit the 04. Borla makes the cat back that fits the 04 with the 05 look. Sorry for the confusion.

I bought my car, I love the Yellow, but I wanted the Ram-Air hood, and I really
like the 05-06 rear look. IMO it looks great with all the appearance mods. Tint is
    next,then headers,then maybe a Maggie......help me I can't stop!!LOL
