    04 to 05/06 brakes

Has anyone changed their o4 to 05/06 brakes? I found on JHP parts for the bolts. Will they just bolt up? Thanks Ron

I haven't done it myself but had a couple different people tell me that is a true bolt on conversion.

The 04's have a back plate held on by rivets. You can drill them out and toss the back plate or get the 05/06 spindle and hub also. But yes other than that it is just the larger bolts.

I changed my '04 brakes over to '05/'06 last year. I bought all of the parts from a guy on ebay by the screen name "fparts". He is a salvage yard in Bristol, PA. that parts out "new era" GTO wrecks. Pretty decent place to deal with. The parts were like new when I received them.
I swapped out the spindles instead of sleeving the bolt holes. It is a straight forward conversion though. I'm very pleased with the results.
