    Ws-6 vs BMW M Roadster

While coming home from a test and tune, I notice in my rearview a red car weaving in and out of heavy traffic. About 15 minutes later on a two lane road this same car catches a red light next to me. I look over and it's a mother and her young daughter and I ignore them.
Light turns green and mom guns the gas. Black smoke coming out of the tailpipes and she's gone. Well until 1 mile down the road, She hit a red light.
I slowly pull up next to the car and notice the colorful M on the back of this miata look-alike. Mom dosen't look over but her daughter looks over with a shit-eating grin on her pie hole. I nod to her and give the "its on" point to the light.
Mom starts creeping ahead into the intersection before the light turns.(powerbraking?) I do my quick accessment(open road ahead,MT's on) and tach up to 3 grand. Light changes and I leave hard, In my rearview all's I see is blackmarks a little smoke and a red BMW miata way back. I quess she didnt know what the big white numbers meant and the different tires on the rear means I had 2 flats. RLTW

BMW miata? What the heck is a BMW miata? Was it a BMW M3 or a Mazda miata? Nice kill by the way.

I think he is talking about the "M" version of the Z4 roadster.

Actually it's an M version of the Z3 which had the 240 HP six. They usually run in the high 13's. Nice cars, but no match for an LS1.

From 2001 they are equipped with the real M3 engine with 325 Hp. Lot faster than the castrated older US M3 version. Stock for stock I would say it comes down to the driver.

    Well done.

One of my girlfriends has one of those BMW's and I have driven it many times. It is NO match for the LS1, doesn't even compare.
