Stone vs. gutted Z28
My buddy has a auto 99Z with lid, ported tb, lt's O.T.A., tuned(dont know what he made)fully gutted and some free mods....he went a 12.7@112(before tb, and gutted interior). We went from a 30 roll about 10 times with me getting the initial pull(bout a car) and him coming back at about 100 and pulling me to a car by 140.....every time. It was very close every time! I love races like that!!! He got vids but he sayd he accicdently erased them

Good runs Stone! Man, my car has been down about two months now, and I haven't been in a race since I put a bus on an SRT4. Every week you are running somebody and posting. Must be nice. You live at a dragstrip or sumthin'?
When you say gutted, what do you mean? What did he take out? I took a LOT of crap out of mine, and I got the same car as your buddy.
P.S. Gutted LS1 F-bods run like hell! Shhh...don't tell anybody!

Honestly teh reason i have soo many runs is because i will go cruisin and look for runs. But this one was setup......we were shooting pool and asked if i wanted a rematch.(this guy was actually the first "kill" on here ever for me). And he has A/C but only 2 seets in teh car. He has no paneling in the car at all, no carpot or anything. But his dad is a dentist and hes never had a job in his life and has teh Z and an 06 Cummins quad 4x4, and he took the interior out to re-do it all and sel the car.

I debated putting the carpet and passenger seat back in, but it just straight looked like ass without it. You can't take a chic on a date with no carpet in your ride dude.
I settled for stripping all the insulation off >100lbs, and I put the passenger seat in. Removing the A/C was worth at least 50-70 lbs.
