Stock termmy wants some of the goat

I have a Cobra story sort-of, I pull out of work today, and as luck would have it an '04 Terminator pulls out in front of me. The guy works at the same place as me. I had no idea that someone I worked with owned a Cobra. He pulls out as I pull in behind him. I give it a couple of revs and give chase out to the highway, cars everywhere. No room to race but he is "on it". finally when we get to town I pull up beside him and tell him nice car. He replys thanks and says, "I've heard about yours", I ask if he is modded and he says "No, Bone stock", says he wants to race when traffic is slower

I have raced 1 other cobra, highly modded, beat me by 1 1/2 cars to 120mph, before I had some work done to mine.
and before the meth kit, any predictions on the outcome?.......I personally know what will happen, how about you guys........Sorry for the "ricer" book.....LOL

Actually, I think the guy figures his car is "unbeatable", my guess is he has beaten everyone he has raced.....

447.2 rwhp, after 15 pulls tuning it, so it was heat soaked,and a "fat" tune haven't had it dynoed since feb. I'm guessing about 480rwhp now, thats a pretty close estimate.

don't mean to disrespect but if you are is making around 480rwhp NOW, how come a "HEAVILY" modded cobra before some work done to your car beat you by 1 1/5 car? my car is no wehere near heavily modded (only upper pulley, intake, catback, midpipe & tune) and i made 455-478 and my car runs low 11s. a heavily modded terminators are around 550-650rwhp.

about this race, he stands no chance. good luck.

the term. Im referring to, here were his mods, ported s/c, bigger TB, smaller pulley, basani exaust, headers, bigger intercooler, Drag radials, and half-shafts and axel stubs, I think thats about it.......by the way the most you can get out of a term, is 550rwhp without a different blower, thats my understanding

yes, a terminator with those mods should walk away from you car without a problem but i guess driver wasn't as good.

a ported blower cobra will make OVER 500-520rwtq and depends on the port, they will make 490-530rwhp. and due to roots blower, cobras makes GREAT avarage power. GTOs ar enot any lighter than cobras so there is none or very little weight advantage. so, nobody is underestimating your car but a ported cobra >>>> your car. simple and easy. ported cars have seen 10 sec on 1/4 mile and avarage drivers gets them into mid-low 11s with 125+mph trap full weight.

what is your tq? which kind of blower? if it is vortech or procharger, than cobra will pull even more. actually you are underestimating cobras big time. my car is pullied only and ran low 11s I bet you I will give you a run without a problem on a 1/4 mile and i only spent total of 1k to my car.

I have seen tons of termis making close to 550rwhp that cant break out of the 11s.

At first, maybe. No doubt the torque off idle is impressive on those type blowers, but when setup properly a centri will more than holds its own. Maybe that's just me trying to defend the procharger I'm about to install

The only one I ran was a disappointment. Pulled him easy by about 8 cars from 50-140. Then 40-140 by a car banging 1st and 3rd rev limiter. Terminator cobra vs my modded N/A LS1.

That's pretty amazing, the only one notable here in town has pullies and drag tires and has managed a best of 11.9 (and is a decent driver). What was your MPH? 60' time?
