SRT Charger on the highway.
I live in a small town, so I'm on may way to Wal-Mart, 60 miles away, to finish shopping. Fairly nice day out, and I'm cruising on the interstate at 79 mph, and I just passed a car and got back into the right lane. Then all of a sudden from behind the car I just passed a Charger pulls out and is gaining quickly, so I'm watching him in the mirror, and before I realize it he is at wot and is 1-2 cars back and I stomp it to the floor. Well he goes by, must be doing a 100 or better. So he has a good lead for a little while, but after a 1/4 mile or so I'm gaining ground and catching him. I'm about 4 cars back doing 135, and blue smoke starts coming out his car. It got so bad you couldn't see the back of his car anymore. I start letting off because I didn't want engine parts or oil to start getting on my car or tires at that speed.
We both slowed down some, but I quickly caught up to him and pulled beside him and gave him a thumbs up, and wanted to see if he wanted to go from the same speed, not a flyby headstart, but he wouldn't go again. Maybe he wanted his car to stay together until he got to where he was going. I sure hope he checks his oil, it has to need some.

The Charger was a black SRT8 with an early 40 year old couple. It was fun, but I wish he would've went from a same speed roll. My mods are in sig.
Suncoast Creations hood, p&p throttle body, LS6 intake, Dart 225cc 2.02/1.60 heads, TSP 233/239 cam, Hooker headers, 3" duals, Yank SY 4000 stall, LS6 oil pump, double roller timing chain, iridium plugs, Moser 12 bolt with 3.73 gears. Vizage body kit.

I hate that, you find someone that wants to play but then again they don't.

You would have had him anyway w/ your mods. Too bad he "smoked" it! Weird.
I had that happen to me in my Supra on a high speed run but with white smoke. Turns out it was a pinhole leak in the radiator that ONLY exposed itself under those triple digit conditions and held together for 75-100miles until I got to the dealer for a diagnosis.
