Srt-10 vs. Ws6

My friend just bought an 04' dodge ram srt-10(stock), he wants to race me but i know jack squat about the car.I know hes pulling high ponies...but I also know he ways more than me. Help!
1999 T/A ram air, headers,exhaust

those run mid 13s. They have 500hp, but like you said they are heavy. Are you M6 or A4? I think you will have a good chance of winning either way. I think it will be a drivers race. What kind of race?>> From a dig / from a roll? Trucks are aerodynamic bricks at high speeds.

viper srt10 and TA weight 3450lbs. stock vs stock engine, tires etc
the viper will eat you no problem.
Also the viper srt10 does 12.5 @ 1/4mi stock, while ws6 13.2-13.3 stock

yeah im running 12.2...so im not gonna risk it...he wants money involved...like i need that with gas at 2.53 a gallon...especially with my new 30lb fuel injectors

you better hope the viper is stock... if he got a few bolts on it is a drivers race.

didn't you read the 1st post?? Its the srt-10 RAM. NOT A VIPER!!!! The truck is like 5000lbs.

and burnws6 you must have more mods than headers and exhaust to be runnin 12.2 But if you truly are running 12.2 race him for as money as you can. Cause like ZAPFOOL said you will waste him.

ohhh Doge RAM not ram... I thought the ram srt-10 is like the viper with some ram package on it... ok now it make sence.. yeah. 5000lbs animal need 600hp to get into high 12s.

when they first came out, i saw one here at the local track pull a 14.2

if its a single cab, which if its an '04 it should be cuz the quad cab was not offered, it will be a M6. you will definately beat him unless you just really screw up somehow. good luck and post results

I own a 05 ram srt 10,,,,The truck is very hard to launch ,,,,,if he just got it you will hand him his ass, If he knows how to launch it and hit third it will be the drivers race.. if he has any bolt ons ,he can take you,,,,, I have the traction package,computer upgrade and a few other things and i believe if you are running in the 12 that i would be a good race for you . were do you live

in ft.myers and yes I forgot to mention camshaft,rods,forged heads,......i put the headers and exhaust recently so that's what comes to mind

Nice SRT bud. Like the black on yellow.

You should have no problem beating him if you run a 12.2 They are heavy as said and yes trucks are hard to launch considering there is no weight in the rear.

My father used to have a highly modified 78 Ltl' Red Express and that thing got crazy on the launches.
