A new BMW 335 is turbocharged. With a good tune they are a 12 second car. Stock, or cars with few mods probably would have some problems handling one of them.

I'd be willing to bet your LS1 has issues. I've been there before when I thought my car was slow, and come to find out I was running on less than 8 cylinders the whole time. My suggestion is to have your motor checked out by a technician that has know how on the LS1, and find the problem(s).

The only other thing I could think of is those guys flat out lied to you. Both cars had much - much more done to them than you were informed. Gotta know what your going up against
