after messing around with a 3000gt sl on the highway

me and my bro(02sunsetorangeZ) were cruising around in our little town and passed the field house and saw a red t/a over there with some kids around it. i've seen the car around town and new it was a high testosterone high schooler that owned the car, anyway, they get in it and follow me thru the housing part of town and we catch a stop sign together. clint, my bro, says what year is that and he yells '02! then we ask what tranny and says auto. i was like you wanna run 'em and see what happens? he said, someone say go. i was like you cracker! lets go on the little straight business highway on the outskirts of town and go, so we do. we went from around 55-60mph punch. i got the jump but i immediatly pulled on him, chirped 3rd gear and kept going. i ended up getting about 2-2 1/2 cars on him still pulling. suprised the shit outta me, anywho we pull over and chit chat, they were juniors in high school and he had only had the car for a little bit. it had 60k on the clock, auto and just a flowmaster muffler. not even a lid. also had a big dent in the l/r quarter panel. anyway he is definately a newbie to the f-bods and we said laters and off we went. that is the first time i have ever ran another f-body and i loved it

last night ran an 02 anniversary ss slp edition with the silver stripes. full exhaust. we ran on the highway, he pulled a fender on me but i was gaining and we shut em down because of traffic. greatest death in the world is a death to a fellow lsx-er!

never ran another f-body before but soon, waiting for my friend to break in his new clutch and then its on. matter of fact i haven't ran anyone in this T/A yet

My only loss came from an f-body. My first race in my Formula. A 95 LT1 that's kicking around 385 RWHP. I outpower him now though. It was pretty close then. I wish I would've launched better though, I smoked the tires bad.

Nice kill. I have quite a few losses and wins at the track to Fbods. Only ran one on the street and I got him. Win loose or draw its all good because if you win you know ya did something. If you loose you know what your car will do with x-mods if he tells you what he did.

I ran a 97 T\A at a red light one time..it had two rednecks in it...was not much of a race i jumped 2 cars on him and kept pulling.. still fun

thanks everybody, i was worried cuz you know if you see a mustang or something with mods your like o well the little 4.6 needs it, but when i see an f-body or y-body and it has at least exhaust i'm like o damn, i know what this thing does stock

I raced my buddy in his 96 vert lt1 and beat him, it was hella fun. There is only one other f-bod within 30 miles besides him and that one is as stock as I have ever heard of and he dont want to race, but he's "an SS so he has 335 hp factory" and has a sticker on the hood to prove it.

yeah sorry, yeah there are some pretty quick cars here. john from delk performance lives here. go to delkperformance.com and check out his cobras they are in freakin sane. theres a 96 lighting here thats pretty bad no really quick ls1s as far as i know. do you ever or want to go to buffalo valley sometime?and once again sorry about the thread jack but havent found anyone this close before.
