quick kill
so i was on my way home from the gf's house at like 4 in the morning and i pull up to a red light with a 05-06ish accord sports coupe from what i read these things have 240 hp, anyways i pull up and he starts creeping foward, the kid looked like he was in his late teens maybe early 20's, so he's creeping like he's just waiting to go on green so i decide to go even though i know there is a police station at about the 1/4 mile mark. so i just said a little prayer that it'd be over and i could just shut it down before then. so the light turns green and we go he jumped the light a bit and i got a little antsy and spun so he ended up getting a pretty good jump on me cause i had to let off then ease back on. with all that he never got more than a fender out on me. but when i was finally able to put my foot to the floor the "race" was over i caught him and jumped out 3-4 cars where i let off cause i was approaching the station thankfully that light stayed green and there was no popo in sight! a prayered answered i guess.

option 1; not the car you thought it was.
option 2; he can't drive.
option 3; you meant to say," 3 or 4 feet...".
option 4; you got mods....
....nice kill !

k&n intake, hooker catback, hi-flow cat, vortec intake elbow, jasper tranny, and tb bypass and yes it was an accord ex. you have to remember he only has 212 tq where as a stock lt1 has 325. that made a big difference and yes the gap was about 3 lengths to 70ish maybe 80. not that this means much but the car gtechs 0-60 in like 5.25 and is in the high 13's in the 1/4 on the gtech. the car is fairly low on miles for its age it's at 102,000 i believe. i got it 2 years ago with 61,000

5.25? Doubtful, most cars running mid 13's are 5.5 0-60.

like i said it was on a gtech but i saw a car and driver article that had a 93 z28 running 5.4 0-60, granted the cars not new anymore but it is somewhat modded where as the car they test was bone stock. its too bad i didnt get it on tape i had my dv cam in the car too, but there wasnt anyone there to film since i had to drive and all lol.

my 92 350 tpi z28 g-teched 5.4s and 13.9s @ "wayoffmph"...with k&n and flowmaster muffler only.....my 02 g-techs at 4.5s and 13.1s @ "114???"
g-techs are extremely acurate for time....not mph. I've tested on the track with one. Again, nice kill.02 z28 auto...13.1s@109mph on stock tires with 80+ temp....lid,filter,corsa cat back,hpp3.

well the best i've managed is 13.9's on the gtech so thats not too bad it's good to know that the gtech is at least good for time but yea the mph in the 1/4 at least is way off it has me trapping like 106 lol
