New alternator gives way to the death of the M3

Well yesterday on the day 9/7 my car broke down of me on the hwy and it ended up being my alternator. So I get it
towed to a shop and have it replaced. So I pick up my car later on after work, and head home. I take the long way to avoid traffic. On the way I noticed this car pulling up quick as soon as I saw the three lines/vent on the side of the car I knew it was an M3.

So we get next to eachother while goint 60 and we punch it. He got a start but I stopped his pull immediately, then I started to pull away but slowly. A car was coming up in my lane and I had to slow down. He let me pass in front of him and we hurried to the red Light

I looked over as we waited and gave him a thumps up. He just smiled and looked ahead. Green came and we launched almost identical and my car just grabbed and pulled hard on him in first. Buy the time I went into second I had atleast 2 cars on him. By second it had become probably 3-4 and it ended as soon as it started.

2001 SS slp lid, fan switch, oil cooler, flowmaster cat-back, hypertech tune.

Which even then some of our cars will eat that M5 and spit it out. I've had a prodding match with one before, they pull pretty hard haha.

M5 are rated @ 394hp

M3's are around 55k while the M5 is over 65k.

the new M5 produces 500hp 400-500 at the push of a button that recalibrates fuel curves, ignition, that sort of thing. Go read about it. Bad ass car.

i smoked an m5, dunno the year...but this was a drag race in the rain...i just feathered my spinning and stayed ahead...he was so pissed!!!!when i shifted to 2nd early and walked away i let off and the car grabbed traction violently as i decelerated....DANGEROUS but his car had good traction controll im sure
