The sound of the gear spread sounds just like an M6 to me. The 4l60e has much more rpm drop than that. But what puzzles me more is,,,if this is an auto,,,why in the world are you shifting it?

I agree, watched the video a few times, and the gear spread (RPM) sounds like the M6,,,not a 4L60E at all. Plus you can see the camera man get jerked around evertime the clutch is popped out.
Racing from a roll that fast would require the auto to downshift to second gear, if you count how many times the car shifted, he's in overdrive with an auto, aint happening.,,,plus it would be rediculous to shift an auto like that,,,no purpose at all for it.
And for the record,,,I honestly would be embarassed to claim that win,,,simply for the fact that who ever is driving that camaro doesn't know how to shift a manual.... That was some sloooooow shifting. Dude needs more practice. Larry.

this is a bad thing if infact you didnt race this cobra. despite the overwhelming evidence that the z in the vid was a manual (i know bc i have one) im going to give you the benefit of the doubt on this one. good kill. what highway was this pull on? we are from the same city and if this video isnt yours im coming to look for ya (in good fun) so we can run em. but thats just me being an ignorant newbie. are you on f body associatin of st louis or mo f body yet? get on em. see ya on 370
oh great intentions, ive got the best of interventions...
