OK, a damn near high 11 sec car gets beat by a 07 Mustang gt with just a intake and a X pipe. Wow ! Somebody is not telling all what they got or somebody is not be truthful about there mods.

I used to own a stage2 04' STI and I'd eat those mustangs up all day.

I'm not saying that they can't be fast but a 13.8 sec car with two mods just doesn't pickup that kind of power with those 2 mods.

took a couple times, but i think you misread it. it wasnt mustang gt VS wrx. it was a mustang gt kill and wrx kill.

what does the sub trap in the 1/4? what do you trap?

I don't have my Sube anymore but I never got it to a track but stock its around 103-104 and I was faster than that, i would say about 107-108.

Stage 2's are't even that fast. They'll get eaten alive from a roll by an LS1 with nothing more than a lid and catback.

I got my ass handed to me one nite by an LS1 with a 300 shot ( I was stock but it wouldn't have made a difference what stage I was), I was beating all his LT1(3 of them all stock) buddies and a foxbody GT only to have him(LS1) pull up to me (while I was spanking his friends) and jump his ride as if " you wanna race " but I was already in it at about 85mph and then he took off like I was stading still, I was like.

Thats why I'm going with an LS1/LS2/LS3/LS6/LQ4/LQ9 (whichever I can get my hands on cheaper) for my 67' RS/SS.

I do plan on taking it to Route 66 in the future and putting it on the track, both drag and road course but nothing too heavy as far as driving goes.

I'm going with a C4 IRS system, for the uniqueness(is that a word ???), and the handling and smootheness for road course but it won't be too good good for drag. I know a straight axles can handle just as good but I like the idea of having an IRS on an 1st Gen..
