me vs 600 hp 04 cobra

This was a badass race. I've included the summary that my buddie wrote up on another forum plus the two videos. my heads/cam consist of GTP stage 2+ heads and a TR T-Rex cam and dynoed 462/402 to the wheels. enjoy.

Chef and cam02ss went out for some fun runs tonight (all motor heads & cam LS1 SS Camaro vs Kenne Bell SC'd SVT Cobra). We all expected the outcome, but it was cool nonetheless. I was riding in the SS filming and Fartpipe rode with Chef.

First run:
The SS jumped a bit and they were reasonably even for the most part with Chef getting the SS by about 1-1.5 cars at the top of 4th. cam02ss also hit the rev limiter in 3rd, so lost a bit of ground there due to that.

Second Run:
This time the run was a little cleaner, but cam02ss seemed to be short shifting a little after over-revving the first run, which I think hurt the run that time (6200-6300 vs 6600-6700 the first run). Chef got the SS by a good 4 cars this run. Had cam02ss shifted a little later, I think the overall gap would have been more like 2.5-3 cars at the end.

Overall, good runs and two very fast cars. This is what its all about, just going out and having fun. I'm sure Chef, cam02ss and Fartpipe will all chime in with their views on it but here are the vids to check out a while.

Didn't know this was posted up here, just put my Cobra up for sale in the FS section like yesterday. Not because of the race, I think I held my own pretty well and didn't want to jump Cam on the first one, so I was late, he didn't jump me. My mod list is in the FS thread for all those interested. She did 591 std rwhp on the 16-17 lb pulley. I ran cam with the 14-15 psi pulley, so probably around 540 rwhp SAE/560 rwhp STD. 2nd run we got a pretty even start and ran it out to a higher speed ~125.
