If that's the case, much more modding required.

You have to understand Spaz's history of modding. It generally involves a blown engine somewhere along the way.

I do recall hearing some stories....

I guess that just means it's time to upgrade to forged internals, and lots of other goodies....

    If its a newer m5 they have a 500hp v10.

The soon to be released m5 will have a twin turbo 570hp v8.

Bah. They're what, 60-70K new? Another case of the 'cheap' American car keeping up with the overpriced import...

My boss had an M5, he scared the crap outta me when he was driving it. I think we set new land speed records from the office to the Chinese restaurant he loved to eat at...

    What year M5 was it?

The newer body style E60's are packing a stout 509hp v10.

The older style E39's had a smaller v8 with close to 400hp. 0-60 under 5sec.

Yep, and as i said they are brining the 4.4 liter v8 back into the m5, but with two turbos this time.

Yes, much lighter and the pistons move quick because there is no friction.
