Loose Exhaust
Well the other day on the way home from work, I see a blue mazda RX8 I'm thinking that I would like to run him. So as luck turns out we get lined up at the light. So i pass him a few revs he passes back so the light turns green and we were off. I nail second and have like four cars on him and keep pulling but I notice that my car just got loud as hell, but i didn't let off hit third and something is smacking my floor, then fourth and i hear something hit the road so I stop. Thinking the worst, but I just blew a exhaust clamp. The guy in the RX8 kept going good thing cause it was kinda embarssing, but shit happens on the street!!!!

That sucks, but it's an easy fix. That happened to me once on my old '81 Z28, but I wasn't racing anyone at the time.

ha same thing happened to me a month ago. I launched from a light and then herd my exhaust dragging. Then got a phone call from my friend behind me saying sparks are flying out everywhere.
