Looked really good in the rearview.

Lucky for him I still need to adjust my clutch before I can hit WOT shifts.

I would have put many cars on him if my clutch was adjusted.
I can't hit shifts at WOT right now...takes 2 seconds to make the shifts. So each time I went to shift...he caught right back up. Once I got it in gear, I would start pulling him pretty hard.

It was quick though!! Nice cars.

He was probably pissed, cause he thought you were messing with him...letting him catch up, then leaving him again.

They may be a couple years behind, but they cost half as much and the new Ford 5.0L is going to send Lexus packing. Just read a 12 page article on it in Mustangs and Fast Fords, the torture tests that engine endured would blow up any Toyota engine in the first round.

Yea, cause toyota engines are known to be unreliable

The is-f is a sport sedan with luxury. And its msrp is 52k, fully loaded they let them go for 57-58k, im sure the 2011 stang gt will be more than 26k. You get alot more car with the is-f.

A lot more car?? Nahh, you get a lot more car for your money with the GT, which will be HALF the price.

Lets see, 400HP Toyota for $60K, or 400HP Mustang for $30K?? Mustang will also have a 6 speed manual, not that piece of shit paddle shift 8 speed the IS-F has.

At least the Mustang won't pin its gas pedal to the floor and run you and your family headlong into a wall at 100+MPH. And Toyota tried to blame the floor mats?? LOL, they are a piece of shit company, now they have a multi million vehicle recall for throttle controls.

The is-f looks better inside and out, has more options, more room, awesome brakes, great suspension and isnt part of the pedal recall. Everyone who has driven the car has loved it and it gets rave reviews for how it handles. Its a great car with luxury and speed.

Wesman you do know GM has had millions of cars recalled for issues aswell, like 1.5million for engine fires. Does that make your precious GM a piece of shit company aswell?

As for the is-fs shitty 8 speed tranmission, your crazy if you think its bad, its one of the fastest shifting production conventional autos available. It shifts in 1/10th of a second, the only thing to rival that is the dual clutch trannys out today.

Lol good kill, doesnt matter if the is-f has a 415hp v8 or a 1/10th of a second shifting tranny when its straight line racing your 530whp monster. Even if it is a slow shifting monster lol. 2 second shifts to 1/10th and you still won haha.

Ok, one more time cause maybe I'm missing something here....is your 99 Firebird "stock"?
If so, you're saying that even granny shifting is walking an IS-F?
Kind of hard to believe for me. That's a 0-60 in around 4.6 second car, with a 1/4 mile trap speed of around 110.

Maybe I missed something and you've got more HP, but until I threw in the 150 shot, a car like that would have given me one hell of a run, if not pulled away. I know last time I looked and checked my bank account, I surely wasn't stock under the hood.

Don't feel offended, just looking for clarification.
