Kinda pathetic kill but a Mustang none the less....
Just got home from a little trip in AZ yesterday and was missin the TB. Rippin all around, havin some fun. Went home and took care of what I needed to and headed back to the GF's for the night. We stopped at a liquor store cause she wanted to grab some Corona. I hopped out and grabbed the windex and towel and started some minor detailing. She gets back out and as I'm backin out I see a last gen Mustang GT roll by. Not sure what year, didn't even bother to see if it was the year w/ the fake hood scoop or not. But I don't think it was the first year..... Anyway, I rip out and try to catch up since I never get to play w/ anybody....
Surprisingly, I catch up and fly up to him. Much to my dismay after seeing the kid driving and the GF, i assume, in the back, I see what looks like his mom in the pass seat. I'm like FOCK! So whatever.... I decide to fly off. The exhaust screams in 2nd and I took it from 60-80, top of second. He quickly follows behind, so now I'm happy again. As luck would be on my side we get ahead of traffic and the light turns. After we figure out which lanes we're goin to we're head to head. I roll down the window to come to a verbal agreement but they never look over, windows down and all..... So I know he wants to race but decide to watch the lights and rev at him just before it turns. He won't look over at all, guess he figured he'd just show the retard in the Trailblazer w/ the exhaust and rims what was really up So I say to the GF, he's about to get his ass handed to him and he has no clue..... So now I'm laughing to myself since he's not even trying to get a handle on what I'm driving. Light turns, I go, hear some tire squealin on his part and the rest is history. He hung w/in a car length to 20 and once I got out of that stock converter dead spot at 20, pulled lengths on him. Shut'er down at 75 or 80 w/ about 6 or 7 lengths in between us. May have been more but all I know is he was in my sideview at about 30mph....
But the weird part is when they caught back up at the next light the mom or whatever and the GF are lookin at my truck laughing about something Not sure if it was cause an SUV just dusted their GT or that a SUV period was racing. Either way, he was in it for sure. Kinda pissed me off when he wouldn't look over at all. I wanted to give him a thumbs up and be cool but he didn't want to acknowledge me at all. Guess he was just going fast to be cool, even though he went out of his way to get next to me. Why can't people just be cool, win or lose?
Wow, that turned out to be long..... Sorry guys.96 Imp SS- 12.74@103, 1.74 60' out of fuel

she was probably laughing, because her bf/son (maybe both if you are in WV) said he wasn't trying and she thinks you and your SUV "thinks" you can beat a Stang. Little does she know, he is probably going to cry himself to sleep at night wondering how GM is superior stock vs stock in all performance aspects. Even GM's SUVs are beating Fords Pony car.. LOL.

Good Kill Man .... I also hate when they dont acknowledge you........ ive been given my ass handed to me by several cars that act all hard afterwards....in exchange everytime i win or lose always give the thumbs up and possibly start a conversation at the next light....although we're all not ls1 owners we all race and thats the main part..
Nice Kill

I dont know about speed at the track but i do know that i have beaten all the new GTs ive raced, i also beat a stage 1 rousch and a couple of slightly modded GTs, stock ones i take by about 5-7 cars depending on how good the driver is, the rousch i took by atleast 4 cars.
