Killed a old school vette
So it was about 7:30pm yesterday and iam driving on I-10, iam just driving along a all off a sudden a car comes right on my ass and then swerves around me and guns it when he gets next to me. Well i let it go because iam almost at E, and then i see him braking waiting for me to get closer and he does it again, so iam like okay. I get up to him and look over and its a old guy so i signal him to go and were going about 55 so he guns it and i gun it and i pass him like he was just sitting still , long story short i go till i hit 140 and i don't see him in the rear view mirror.

The best are the 80's Miami Vice guys who think their Vette is faster than a supercar... LMAO! Good kill! You should wait for the guys leaving Car Shows and see if they'll give you a good run...

Good kill, although most of the 70's Vette's were 15 second 1/4 mile cars. That being said, they were pretty fast for their time and are still true American classics!
2002 Camaro SS M6, 2.5 PRC 5.3L heads, TFS 228/230 cam, FAST 92, bolt ons + a 10 lb bottle in the back.
1989 Corvette L98, A4, Full bolt ons, etc.

hey man were talking about the 75 and up vettes that have around 200hp the older one with 350s were better. My dads 71 vette conv. was rated at 275hp with the standard 350 in it. After the gas crisis car companies got fucked because the EPA made all new cars have catalytic converters in 75. But you are right the Sting rays with the 427 option were baddass. The older faster stingrays can easily be noticed because of there chrome bumpers not molded.
Faster older Sting ray.
slow 75 vette.

My father has a 1980 L82. It's a beutifull car but man is it sloooow. I'm afraid to drive it because I know I'll get my arse handed to me by the first Civic with a fart can. On top of that I don't think it ever ran right. Trying to find a vacume leak on that engine is like looking for a needle in hay stack with all the pollution control devises. His 67 Stingray on the other hand...
