killed by 96 cobra :(

finally got to race my buddies 96 cobra today. bastard gets me by about a length and a half in the quarter! i stay ahead of him almost the whole way but he runs me down in the last few feet before the line. i beat him once when he spun out, but this was the typical outcome.

oh yeah did i mention i was racing him in my 78 gmc truck? lol! i guess i better install the nitrous kit on it!

Not bad. With the 150 shot you'll definitely suprise a lot of muscle cars out there.

yeah. and it's rusty and ugly. was a great sleeper till i put the drag radials on it. now anyone that knows anything is asking me why it needs those tires....

No need for the pic. You can tell by the duel snorkels on the hood that is a 4.6 Cobra. People tend to be unfamiliar with the SN95 versions.

Damn, I'm confused lol. So the cobra has dohc, but regualar gt's have sohc?

My bad, I thought they were all SOHC motors...The 03-04 Termi's still have SOHC though right?

Yes as of '96 & up the GT's are SOHC.

The '03-04 Cobra's, as well as '96-'98, '99 and '01, '00 "R"... Cobra's all have a DOHC layout.
