yeah..at 1st he didnt want to race me cuz supposebly him he was gon so sure he was gon beat me cuz he had beaten plenty of ls and lt1's so i told him, 'well then if u beat me then ill just be nother one in ur smoke list, an ill give u 50 buks no bull if u beat me', so thereafter we raced an smoked him,then stoped me 2 ask what my mods were..hes not a bad guy just to overconfident whit his car

anyone can beat an STI or EMO from a roll, hell i bet even a new stang could do it. you gotta race em from a dig that's where their training wheels really help them. launch is half the battle of racing

Whats funny though is most drivers end up bogging them and almost stalling when they try to launch.

When you figure you aren't building any boost without a load on the engine, you're basically trying to take off with a low compression N/A 4 cylinder with about 100ft/lbs of torque. Trying to move a 3500lb AWD car with an engine thats gutless without the turbo can be very tricky.

It's the turbo and the cams that keep them from opening up from a roll. The turbo runs out of wind and so do the cams.

Why do you have to come in with the excuses?? There are many factors that make the Evo and STi slow from a roll, not the least of which is the fact that they are AWD, which sucks up a bunch of power.

Excuses? I was stating why they are slow from a roll........how is that an excuse?

Did I say "If he had XXXX then he would have won!" No, I did not. People were talking about how they are great from a dig and suck from a roll, I explained why.

I think you should stick to things you know about. Having owned an evo and starting with it from scratch, and building it up to a 120+ MPH car, I think I know what I'm talking about. Especially considering I did it myself.

Nobody asked why they are slow from a roll.

But you feel the need to come in here and start preaching about things nobody cares about. Nothing new there.

why is an EMO slow from a roll? maybe it's a fairly heavy awd car with 4 cylinders.... maybe thats why.

No I'm saying more efficient. There are turbos available that appear completely stock from the outside and give 100+ more horse power to the wheels.
