Just won a race in my truck!

I have a 07 z71 5.3 auto some stuff on it nothing special. Anyways a early 90s gt about 4 to 5 different colors some dude with a mullet driving it swear to god revs the turd of a 5.0 at me light turns green give the old truck all se has and left a mustang setting at the light let out at the next light and the mullet freak starts talking shit i couldnt help but laugh. Just thought that was great damn mustang couldnt out run a pick up truck..

Not to steal your thread but are those pickups fast at all. some guy wanted to race me in his but he has a "supercharger" with no other mods to it and he's regular cab and short bed. also hes 5 speed.

i have heard of people putting down 500 with a sc on those 5.3 but i have never seen it with a s/c but i know of a bad ass turbo truck just look at this.

Damn that thing hauls balls, the one im talkin about you can hardly hear the supercharger and the motor is completely stock besides the sc, no exhaust no aftermarket intake system. it can light the tires up only because the tires are bald and super skinny. he told me it does 11's in a 1/4 and makes 550 hp

Nope its not a 4wd just rear wheel. The guy hasnt even been to the track and hes sayin he has a 11 sec truck with no slick, but whatever i guess the only way to find out if its fast is to go head to head

people have gotten 500+ rwhp with a cam and turbios. just a magnacharger will add around 150hp-- so stock being 325 takes it to around 475hp--- will do alright in a 4500 pound truck.
