Just killed a mustang;)

so im driving home after doing my friends brakes on his dodge truck.im doing about 30mph in third when this mustang 4.6 with some fat tires slows down ahead of me in the other lane to get next to me.i notice the big tach

and all the gauges in the A piller.sounded good too.i dropped it into 2nd when i heard him downshift.when i saw him launch,i launched too and instantly walked away from him.

i didnt even shift into third.he let off then i waited for him to catch up and we did the same thing again.it was soooo fun.his stang didnt even come close.i looked over and saw his girl leaning up to take a peek at my car.it was awesome

just thought i would share a story.

lol, mustangs aren't even worth an ls1s time. The new one should be close to a bolt on ls1, but until then, find a better opponent

my wife just read this thread and she laughed.maybe she and i should go crusin together more.but she hates the passenger seat.she says it sits on the floor.which is does seem to sit lower.are all fbodys like that?

12.8@110mph out of the box for the 2011 Mustang GT via MotorTrend magazine driving.

Even the base model 2011 Mustang V6 does 13.7@102mph.

Ford has definitely stepped up their game.
