Infinity G35 vs WS6

had a run in with a guy from my schools 06 G35 this morning, we waited until traffic cleared for the safety of others. we came side to side at a stop sign. we waited and i look over at him he nods his head so we take off from a dig i had the T/C off so i spun the tires so i had to let off the gas for a second to regain control by then he was already pulling half a car on me threw 1st gear, by second he was pulling for about a few seconds and by third i closed the gap quickly and pulled past him for the win.

Nice kill.

You never want to race with the T/C on though, in a close race it can cost you the win. It applies the brakes and limits engine power to help stop wheelspin, which isn't what you want.

As long as the car isn't going sideways on you, just keep the hammer down

thats no joke. i havent launced from a dig yet. i know it sounds weird but ive eased off and then hammered it and broke traction violently all the way to halfway through third. and that was the fastest ive ever went across a long intersection period!!

but wes is right. tractio control sucks. it kicks the pedal back at you and fucks up your focus.

Good kill, way to recover. Good thing he didn't let off before you could pass him, or he would be claiming a fake ass kill. Traction can make or break you in a high horsepower car.

What is up with those new G35's? Anybody got specs on 'em? 1/4 time, modability, etc. etc.

Well...he has an auto...but anyways...

Those cars aren't fast, even if you did have an M6 and missed your shift completely, as soon as you get it back in gear you'll reel him in and pass him like he's standing still

Same as the 350Z, just heavier and less sporty. They don't take well to mods, even with full bolt ons they might hit 300WHP.

yeah raced a 350Z the 286whp one, a coworker of mine has one, I beat it last year when I was bone stock.

They run 14.0-14.3s usually but low trap speeds like 101-103 I believe.

Dude what does being in highschool have to do with anything?? he is a wealthy asian guy whos family owns a wealthy busniess that he works at around here....ha you think thats somthing wait till you hear this, this guy i know that is 19 now when he was a senior he had a Diablo SV and a hummer H2 and a lightning....yea its wild.....hes now 19 and has a 06 z06 and a twin turbo bently....he works for an insurence company that his family has ownership in(allstate insurance to be exact)..he rented a specific parking space at school just to park his lambo

im 17 and i paid cash for my WS6. not bragging, yes there are parents that throw out money, some do some dont, but i belive if you work for it or earn it you can get it.

very true! my parents offerd to pay for my WS6 because i kept my grades where they wanted them and i refused, yes i refused because i felt like i would appreciate it more if i bought it with my hard earned cash

that earns waaay more respect then if someone was just like ooo my dad bought me a trans am...now i will go out and race people at 120mph

....my first car was a 94 3.4L V6 and liked it because i bought it.

I hear ya, i work full time and go to school. i pay for all my shit *including expensive ass school* and my car. it sucks to hear about kids getting handed lambos and shit but i've come to terms with the fact that im gonna have to work my ass off for ANYTHING i get in life. i respect the kids who earn their shit, but i also "admire" *maybe not the right word im looking for* the kids that get shit handed to them, atleast they arent going through the hell i am to pay for everything.
