I guess all Mustang guys aren't bad after all...
I ran my buddies 2.93-pullied/Stiegemeier-Ported Eaton 03RedFire Cobra last night. I was kind of suprised with the results. Couldn't help but to share this story with the opposing crowd to get their insight on it. To my suprise they were actually really cool, and showed a lot of gratitude. I guess all Mustang guys aren't bad hey...here's the link, Kill Story inside.

Nice kill. Got cha one(A stang). Visited my home(mustangforums), I see. I thought the LT1 in your sig was your car. Your car is very nice. I didn't know it was that clean. Anyways, thought I'd say that since Mustang guys are more kewl about things, IMO. BTW, your curves(nice and flat) on your Dyno is amazing. All the power is there and stays with ya. I was in stubborn/competition mode last post to notice it. I'm gonna have to jab at cha now though. I didn't know your numbers were with a 125 shot???? See? Bottles and Boost aren't that bad are they?

What the hell do you have in that car?
Spanking just a pullied and tuned Cobras takes like a 150 shot in an LS1... Add to that you say its ported and your in an LT-1...
Are you pushing 500+ to the wheels?

Is that 380rwhp with just cams? Or ported heads as well? Anyways, I found few S197 GT's that put up some pretty impressive numbers. They are so much more responsive than the older 2-valves. I mean like, I was reading an old MM&FF "Naturally Aspirated Modular Shootout" and some of those 2-valves were trapping around 109 with cams and heads. Ouch!
That's the thing. I won't run out of gas. I've got a direct port system. It's good for over 300hp, plus I have some more mods sitting for the motor.

True. My tranny already slips slightly at part throttle. At WOT it runs fine. I'll be buying Trans-Star's Stage 5 700R4 which is supposed to be able to take anything you throw at it (well pretty close to anything ) Before that, i'm going to put some more suspension mods into the convertible.

Damn, a stage 5, never heard of that!! Should be good for some power. Think of the outcome with a non slipping tranny.

Well my tranny right now doesn't slip under full throttle. It does however slip on me during part throttle/normal cruise, more so in the 1-2 and 2-3. I get my trannies from Trans Star located down here in Sacramento, CA. Stage 5, 4, 3 etc. is just how they rate their trannies based upon strength.

Unfortunately, Once you add more power, the other parts of the drivetrain gets jealous and needs daddy's attention too.

Your right. This is not the first termy i've beaten. I raced a guy last year with a black '04 that was pullied/tuned. He claimed to have made 45x rear-wheel which is a right on par for a pullied Cobra. I had no bottle in the car that night. I held him by a fender the entire race. It had to be the weight difference.
9's on the bottle.

Man your LT1 is the TRUTH!! I passed on getting a camaro because i remember having to change my friends opti on his impala. That did it for me but i like your set-up!! Good Job
