I got a kill story for you
There was a parade going on and some straight up 2000hp drag cars were in it, signs everywhere saying no burn outs average for a parade with cars in it. So on of them just lights up his tires goes sideways then grips and smashes into the guard wall. since this was a parade people were standing on the inside of the wall, 6 people were killed 18 injured. What a dumbass

Heard about this. The guy was let go, as he was given permission to do the burnout for some reason or another. How this guy will be able to live with himself is beyond me....

Yeah, shit went wrong alright. What would we expect from a 2000HP gragster doing a burnout on a regular road with hundreds of people standing on the edge of it? At my local dragstrip if there is even a hint that someone might have leaked a little oil or something, the track gets closed down for a half an hour while they clean it. It's also protecting the spectators with heavy guard rails and tall fences for debris.

The accident was in TN. It was a professional driver in a pro mod car. They do it every year but this time it went too far. The burn out went too far over 1/8th mi by the looks of it and when the driver let off the car veered left and the rest is history. He had no business doing a burnout at the speed he was doing it on an unprepared surface. It was just plain stupid too many people too close and he was going too fast. Everyone is to blame the driver, orgainzers and police. There is video on the web I saw it this morning.

Tragic this is about 30 minutes from my house and they have been doing it for years like that. Just got outta hand. I feel sorry for the family's involved.
