i got a hemi srt8
in my trans am i raced a srt8 300c sled the other day. toll way runnin!
hit em twice. i waited to here his car downshift befor i hit it. that car was no slouch pretty quick. i was still able to catch and pass him both times. i checked the h.p. on those cars stock. they are running around 435 h.p.! i had no idea they had that power out of the box, i guess they need a little more.

Damn it! I have wanted to kill one of those monster hemi's for the last longest.
Tried to get a Ferrari Challenge Stradale to run me last night on I-40. That b*tch sounded good too. He didn't want any though.
Prolly didn't think I was worth his time.
I even piped his ass good, right on the driver's window.Heads 'n Cammed, Moser 12, 3.73's, Weight Reduction, 13" Brembo Kit
BMR track suspension, full exhaust, the works...

My wife has a charger srt8, it will go 13.0's all day bone stock. Pretty good for a four door, stock car. It needs a cold air, exhaust work, and a programmer bad!!

We had a lt1 car, started giving me trouble so we sold it and that is what she had to have. You got to give them what they want sometimes!!

nah u shouldnt have any trouble with one of those.......that challange straddle the other guy tried to race woulda been fun as hell though.....might of been able to stick with him to 160 or better according to your sig...think those cars top out around 190 though and i think that would be a lil unsafe in an fbody...u might fly away

I know right. I would have shut her down around 140, cause I got this driveline shake issue that I can't figure out. If I could have pulled him up to there, I would have been "shittin in high cotton!"
Nobody would have believed me though, I would have seen numerous replies with this in it somewhere -->

I thought the charger srt-8 were 435 and the 300 srt-8 were 425. Probably wrong, but I thought I read that somewhere.

What is up with the exhaust on those SRT's? Charger or 300C, hangs low and looks like crap.....hope they don't do the same thing on the Challenger.

Try reclocking the rear axle end of your driveshaft 180 deg. I had my tranny rebuilt and an Auburn LSD installed and the knuckleheads didn't bother to mark the driveshaft before disassembly. So, I would get this horrible vibration at freeway speeds or HIGHER which only worsened when I switched to a poly trans mount. Hope this helps.
