Hit my new personel best top speed today 143 mph ! b4 the paint incident

well this happened b4 the paint container flew out and hit my car today ........when I got off work today was headed down the road and a mazda cx7 come up on me wide open passing cars, decided to play........he comes around me and I nail it, he was already 100 mph+ i was going 70 mph.......I had pulled almost up beside him and he cuts in front of me to miss a car....I am right on his bumper pull out to pass in the middle lane and he decides to get out of my way.......I open it up all the way putting several cars on him......look down I am at 135......kept it nailed got some room ahead no cars, decided to go for my record of 138.........got to 143 mph wow what a rush !!!!!! was approaching a car so I let off...then the car starts to cut in my lane thought I was going to have to take the emergency lane....but they saw black betty coming and got back over....ya I know its stupid to do that stuff but adrineline got the best of me.....back to driving like a grand paw and being good

by the way car was still pulling good.....cant imagine how fast it would be with mods wow

had mine at 145 once. then I thought of my last blowout and let off. here is the reason why.

We can buff that out here and there and it would be good as new. No one will be able to tell the difference

I will only do over 120 with 12 month old or newer tires that have never been patched unless there is a DIRE reason.

I buried the needle in the z28 a few months after I got it (brand new in 02), I figure it was 163mph based on hitting the rev limiter. Not sure how acturate the speedo is though. Not too sure I would chance it with the car now. Pretty scary and dangerous, sticking to the track myself.

Very nice!...gotta love the way it just keeps pullin...150mph, and I hit a small dip in the road...so... I'm not doing that again...(unless racing something fun)...

Ok, maybe a dumb question..but this one guy that had an older model eclipse(94 I believee) with a 4 cylinder engine tried to say he hit the 160 mark and the only mod he has done was a ported TB I believe. Is that even possible or am I just not giving enough credit to 4 bangers?

if it happened...it took him 10 mintues to get to that speed... unless it was Turbo... and even then it took him a long while...

The best I have hit in my eclips was 120 lol non turbo but it just wont go past 120 so that guy is prolly full of shit....mine is a 98 so a lil newer
