Great race on I-270 today. My Formula Vs. a Benz E55 AMG
Had the best race yet in the Formula today. Driving down I-270 West around Columbus towards Tuttle Crossing I had an E55 AMG roll up next to me wanting to race and I wasn't gonna give in but the temptation was just to great to run a beautiful car like this.
The first run we couldn't do anything justifiable as a race because of traffic. The second run the traffic ahead opened up and in fourth we were dead even till 110 to 115 when we had to shut it down. The third race I was and third but didn't have enough room to get anything accomplished again because of traffic. I'd call the races about a tie, since we never really got to go all out for long.
All I have to say about it is that they're amazing cars and the guy was cool as hell. We gave each other a thumbs up and he complimented my car and I did his as well.
Glad to see my cars making good power to be able to run with a 469 hp Benz granted my car is probally alot lighter than it was.

Be careful of the cops that sit in the median right there before tuttle. I see people
get caught there all the time.

that's a good stretch of freeway to get on it. I had an old dude in an hemi powered magnum try me just after tuttle. He was getting on 270 from tuttle, pulled up next to me, shot me a look and we were off. ran it up to 120 looked back and had 6-8 on him. I slowed down to 55 and he would'nt pull back up next to me.

They were great.. I got home and looked up the specs on the car and couldn't believe it. There awesome cars. 469hp, 516 ft-lbs, out of a supercharged 5.5L V8. There heavy though. Didn't really expect to win or even tie for that matter so I was pretty happy. When I was in fourth I was Dead even with him so I think I could've edged him out in third but we didn't have enough room for a good run.

LOL I checked the specs and several places said anywhere from 4.2 to 4.5 0-60 and 12.4 to 12.6 quarter mile. But this was at highway speeds

It works a little. I'm broke right now but as soon as I get the spare money I'm gonna buy one.
