    Got killed today

I decided to get some gas and take the highway home to see if anyone was out. Before i get to the highway, i see four cars driving together as they get on the high way. I catch up and see that there are 3 gto's and what looked like a CTS. I pulled up next to one of the gto's and a woman was driving it so i pulled up next to the CTS. It took off a little ahead of me but still kept pulling as I tried to keep up. It was definitely the faster car (maybe had an ls6?)... it had some weird badge on the back. After that one of the gto's pulls behind me and I can hear its exhaust....it sounded pretty sick. So eventually i'm side by side with the gto and we go at it. It starts pulling and gets several cars on me pretty quick. I stopped at 140. I'm pretty sure these gto's were the ls2 cuz i saw some 6.0 badging. Well, i learned my place... it's definitely time for some mods.

What exactly are 918 springs? Long tubes are definitely a must too.

Comp Cams high rpm valvesprings for LS1 are numbered as 918. Those are the most popular springs, IMO, for LS1 engines with a cam upgrade. The easiest mods you can do yourself are all the bolt-ons and the Z06 intake. Cam and heads are quite a bit more than your usual shadetree mechanic stuff, but all the other stuff you can do on a Saturday morning by yourself.
